According to reports from the National newspaper in Abu Dhabi, the woman was arrested for killing her boyfriend who she dated for almost seven years because he revealed his plans to marry another woman from Morocco.

The 30-year-old Moroccan woman confessed that she committed the crime in other to get back to her boyfriend who had planned to marry another woman beside her, “I also threw the remains of the part that can’t be consumed  to dogs in the neighborhood” –she said

The crime which took places around January was uncovered recently after the man’s brother went looking for him at the couple’s home and confronted the woman, but she denied have a knowledge of his whereabouts and stated that she chased him out of their shared living quarters after he told her about his plans to  marry another woman. The victim’s brother then reported to the police, and a thorough search was conducted in the apartment which led to the recovery of a human tooth in a blender, Gulf News reported.

A DNA test conducted later confirmed that the tooth belonged to the deceased.

During the investigation, police presented the woman with evidence,  that she collapsed and confessed that she murdered her lover for revenge, the woman pretending to be mentally ill pleaded that she committed the crime in a state of insanity.

She also confessed that she cleaned the apartment with a friend who helped her out.

The woman has been sent to a hospital for a medical check-up in order to ascertain her mental condition, she will face trial after the investigation is completed.
